A new era for the Women’s Super League begins in 2024, with eight teams lining up to contest this year’s competition.
Reigning champions York Valkyrie will be the team to beat, with former champions Leeds Rhinos, St Helens and Wigan Warriors expected to be leading the charge to dethrone them.
Featherstone Rovers, Barrow Raiders, Warrington Wolves and Huddersfield Giants will all be pushing hard too after securing their spots in the new-look top flight of the women’s game.
The 2024 Women’s Super League season kicks off on Friday, April 19, but before then the teams contest the group stages of this year’s Women’s Challenge Cup.

That competition gets under way on Saturday, March 16, with the final at Wembley Stadium along with the deciders of the men’s competition and the 1895 Cup on Saturday, June 8.
